Mor Sir Edmund Hillary, el 1er home en fer cim a l'Everest

Sir Edmund Percival Hillary (Auckland, Nueva Zelanda, 20 de julio de 1919) ha mor als 88 anys. Aquest alpinista i explorador neozelandés es va convertir en llegenda el 29 de maig de 1953, cuando va aconseguir ser el 1er home en fer cim a l' Everest, de 8.850 metros, en companyia del sherpa cherpa Sardar Tenzing Norgay .
